In the Belgorod region, five civilians were injured as a result of drone attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on April 22 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.
"In the Grayvoronsky district, five civilians were injured from drone strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the village of Kosilovo, a drone hit a car, injuring four people: a married couple, their son and a 16-year—old girl," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Gladkov added that the couple had suffered barotrauma and concussion, their son had shrapnel wounds to his body, and their 19-year-old son had shrapnel wounds. The young man and the girl also suffered traumatic brain injuries. All necessary assistance is provided to the victims.
In addition, the enemy also attacked a car on the road between Grayvoron and Ilek-Penkovka, as a result, the driver was injured. A man with a mine explosion injury and shrapnel wounds was taken to the hospital.
The day before, Gladkov reported that a civilian was injured as a result of an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Tomarovka – Krasnaya Yaruga highway. They clarified that the wounded man was taken to the Rakityan central district hospital with a mine-explosion injury and shrapnel wounds to his leg.
