More than 200 monuments were put in order in the Tula region by May 9.

In the Tula region, the cleaning of memorial complexes and military graves for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory continues. The progress of the work was discussed at an operational meeting in the regional government, TSN24 reported on Tuesday, April 22.

212 monuments have already been put in order. Most of the facilities — 46 — were improved in Tula. The least (one at a time) are in the Arsenyevsky district and the Novogurovsky work settlement.

Earlier, Izvestia wrote that about 500,000 volunteers are planned to be involved in events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War. The program of celebrations in 2025 includes more than 170 events at the federal level alone.
