Scientists have learned how to use essential oil to feed livestock

Scientists from the Podolsk L. K. Ernst Institute of Agricultural Sciences and the Crimean Research Institute of Agriculture have developed and patented a method for using essential oils to improve the nutrition of farm animals and birds.
Experts have found a way to produce a low-component emulsion with essential oil, which preserves its qualitative and quantitative characteristics. The new product will expand the range of applications of essential oil, which has a wide range of clinical and pharmacological effects, but is prone to degradation and oxidation.
For example, the obtained liposomal emulsions of coriander and fennel can be used to form and improve the microbiome of cattle and birds.
The development is currently being tested in extensive production tests, writes the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya. After they are completed, the new product will be presented based on factual material.
Earlier, Izvestia wrote that American biotechnologists had announced an important scientific achievement. Scientists have managed to recreate a species of terrible wolves that became extinct more than 12 thousand years ago, which gained fame thanks to the cult TV series "Game of Thrones".
