The Moscow Stock Exchange resumed trading on the futures market. This was announced on April 22 on the website of the trading platform.

"It was decided to resume trading from 14:20 [Moscow time], taking into account the provision of 15 minutes required by regulatory requirements for the withdrawal of previously submitted bids," the statement says.

According to the publication, the system was ready at 14:05 to withdraw applications and connect participants, and interim clearing took place at 14:30.

Trading was suspended on the afternoon of April 22. The Moscow Exchange clarified that the measure is related to a configuration error on the network equipment.

On April 7, Andrei Barkhota, an economist and financial market expert, told Izvestia that there is a serious decline in stock indexes around the world, from Asian to European stock exchanges. The sharpest reaction was recorded in the United States, where trading was suspended due to a rapid collapse in quotations amid the imposition of duties by President Donald Trump.
