A cable car and a skate park are proposed to be built in Birobidzhan

In Birobidzhan, a skate park and a cable car can be built in the Paperin Square. Two location options are presented for voting as part of the All-Russian vote for the selection of landscaping facilities.

The first project provides for the creation of several functional areas, including a cable car and a skate park. As part of the second project, it is possible to create a modern playground that will become a center of attraction for families with children, explains IA EAOmedia.

Voting began on April 21 across the country. It takes place within the framework of the program "Creating a comfortable urban environment", part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life". Birobidzhan and the village of Teploozersk are participating from the EAO this year.
In Teploozersk, voting is open for one of two playgrounds, and in Birobidzhan, they are choosing which zones will complement the Paperin Square.

Since 2017, more than 190 landscaping activities have been carried out in the autonomy as part of the program. In Russia, about 72.5 thousand public spaces have been improved under the program, including more than 31.5 thousand park areas.

The agency clarifies that the program "Creating a comfortable urban environment" from 2019 to 2024 was included in the national project "Housing and Urban Environment". Thanks to it, the urban environment quality index increased by 31%, and the share of Russian cities favorable for living was 82.4%.

Earlier it was reported that the graves of those who built the city will be improved in Birobidzhan. This is the goal of the "They were the first" project, developed by the public organization "Preservation of the Historical Heritage of the EAO".
