An employee of the zoo in Mariupol died after being attacked by a tiger

A white tiger attacked a zoo employee in the city of Mariupol, Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), and the man died from his injuries. This was reported on April 22 in the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia.

"According to preliminary data, the animal attacked the employee at the moment when he entered the enclosure to feed him," the department's Telegram channel clarified.

Investigators have begun checking into the fact of causing death by negligence.
