Nikolai Tsiskaridze, People's Artist of Russia, Rector of the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet, called the death of muralist, sculptor, President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli sad news on April 22.

"The sad news has come that Zurab Tsereteli, a muralist, sculptor, and teacher, has died. He was 91 years old," Tsiskaridze wrote on his Telegram channel.

In addition, he published photographs depicting a monument to the brotherhood of nations, history and language. Tsiskaridze clarified that the column with a height of more than 40 m was designed by Tsereteli together with the poet and architect Andrei Voznesensky.
