Russians were told about the early accrual of pensions for May

Pensions for May will be accrued ahead of schedule to those Russians who usually receive payments through the bank from the 1st to the 5th of the month. This was announced on April 22 in the press service of the Social Fund of the Russian Federation.

"Pensions for May will be transferred to citizens ahead of schedule. <...> Early payment will affect all types of pensions, including insurance and social, funded, old—age and disability pensions," the department's Telegram channel says.

They noted that citizens will receive a payment until April 30. At the same time, if other Social Fund benefits come with the pension, they will also be transferred ahead of schedule. It is specified that the delivery of pensions through banks will resume as usual from May 6.

The changes will not affect those who receive pension payments through the Russian Post. They will be able to receive funds for May in their usual time frame, the ministry stressed.

Earlier, on April 15, the Social Fund informed pensioners about the possibility of adjusting their length of service in Public Services. They noted that if there is no accounting for a certain period of work or if another error is found, Russians need to contact their employers. They, in turn, must correct the information and provide it to the agency.
