South Korean company Hyundai has registered new trademarks in Russia. Izvestia found out about this on April 22 after studying the Rospatent database.

The documents note that Hyundai, despite the cessation of production and sales of cars in Russia, can now produce and sell cars, buses, tractors, trucks, trailers and tractors in the country.

Other applications also include engines, tires, wheels, shock absorbers, motors and other components for cars.

It is noted that the trademarks were submitted for registration last year, and Rospatent approved them in April 2025. They are valid until 2034.

On April 14, it became known that Kia had updated its car sales plan for 2025 to include the Russian market. It was clarified that it contains a mention of 50 thousand Kia cars, which are expected to be sold by the end of this year.
