On April 22, a round table on the topic "Intellectual Property and counterfeiting: state and prospects", dedicated to the International Intellectual Property Day, is being held in the press center of Izvestia.

They will talk about improving legislation, law enforcement and business practices in the field of combating counterfeiting.:

- Vladislav Reznik, President of the International Anti-Counterfeit Association;

- Grigory Ivliev, President of the Eurasian Patent Office of the Eurasian Patent Organization;

- Vasily Osmakov, First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation;

- Sholpan Abdreeva, Head of the Intellectual Property Rights Committee of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

- Artyom Kiryanov, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy;

- Artur Taymazov, Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, member of the Committee on the Commonwealth of Independent States, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots;

- Mikhail Orlov, State Secretary — Deputy Head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare;

- Alexey Kurman, Acting Director General of the National Intellectual Property Center of the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus;

- Tadzio Schilling, CEO of the Association of European Businesses (AEB);

- Sergey Mitin, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Agrarian and Food Policy and Environmental Management;

- Vladimir Lopatin, Scientific Director of the Republican Scientific Research Institute of Intellectual Property.

The moderator will be Alexander Larin, Vice-President of the international Association "Anti-counterfeit", Head of the intellectual property department, PhD, Associate Professor.

The event will also include the signing of an Agreement on Cooperation and Collaboration between the Eurasian Patent Office of the Eurasian Patent Organization and the International Anti-Counterfeit Association.
