US President Donald Trump's plan to resolve the Ukrainian conflict will be included in Russian unified history textbooks, which will be created in the future taking into account the latest historical events. This was announced on April 22 by one of the authors of the textbooks, Chairman of the Russian Military Historical Society, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky.

"The extraordinary efforts that the new American administration is making to attempt a reasonable settlement of the conflict in Ukraine, <...>.. They will undoubtedly end up on the pages of a textbook on the history of Russia and universal history," Medinsky said in an interview with TASS.

According to him, the American leader has definitely made history. He also clarified that people are currently experiencing a "historical era."

On April 21, Trump announced that recent U.S. contacts with Russia and Ukraine had been very good. He specified that all the details of the negotiations would be revealed in the next three days.

On April 18, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced the intention of the United States to help resolve the conflict if both sides are determined to achieve peace. According to him, in addition to this important topic, there are also a number of other issues "worthy of American attention."
