Four people died in an accident in the Apastovsky district in southwestern Tatarstan. This was announced on April 22 in the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
"Tonight in the Apastovsky district on 59 km of the Kazan – Buinsk –Ulyanovsk highway, the driver of a Foton truck, according to preliminary data, did not choose a safe speed and hit Sollers, Lada, KamAZ and Opel cars that stopped at a traffic light," the Telegram channel said.
The ministry clarified that as a result of the incident, the drivers of Sollers and Lada, as well as their two passengers, died on the spot. All the circumstances of the incident are being investigated. Traffic police are working on site.
The State Traffic Inspectorate of the Sverdlovsk region reported on April 21 that one person died in an accident in Yekaterinburg. It was previously established that the driver of a Hyundai Solaris car, when leaving a secondary road, did not provide an advantage to a motorist in a similar vehicle, thereby causing a collision.
