Two people were injured as a result of a gas-air mixture explosion in Makhachkala

The explosion of a gas-air mixture occurred in a 10-storey residential building in Makhachkala, as a result of which two people were injured. This was announced on April 22 in the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Dagestan.

According to the agency, the incident occurred on the 10th floor of a panel house, there was no subsequent fire, and the evacuation of residents was not required.

As a result of the incident, two people were injured, they were taken to the burn center of the Vishnevsky Republican Clinical Hospital, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.

The ministry added that no collapses were recorded due to cotton, only two window frames were damaged. 30 specialists and nine pieces of equipment are working at the scene.

In the city of Kamyshlov, Sverdlovsk region, on March 31, a gas-air mixture exploded at a gas station, resulting in the death of a man. It was clarified that the cause of the clap could be the accumulation of gases in an unused basement, the ministry said in a statement.
