Soldiers of the Vostok group of forces evacuated civilians from Constantinople

Military personnel of the 656th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the Vostok group of forces evacuated another group of civilians from the village of Constantinople in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on April 22.
As noted in the department, the Russian military, despite the shelling from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), took out five local residents. Also, during the evacuation, Ukrainian militants opened fire from artillery and sent FPV drones at people.
Then, in order to protect civilians from the effects of enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), the soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation deployed electronic warfare (EW) equipment, creating a special corridor through which people could pass.
"The difficulties, as I think everyone has in terms of evacuation, are enemy birds. They are constantly monitoring us, looking for ways and roads that we use for evacuation, and they are constantly monitoring us. Today they tried to prevent it, but the electronic warfare attacks were silenced. We coped perfectly, without losses," said a soldier of the Vostok group of forces with the call sign Sailor.
According to one of the evacuated residents named Sergei, the Ukrainian Armed Forces abducted his wife who came out of the basement. He clarified that the Ukrainian militants had abused his wife, after which they hanged him, and the body was thrown into a broken barn.
A local resident named Ekaterina also spoke about looting and killings by Ukrainian militants. She stated that her daughter had been raped and killed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"Looting, killing. My daughter was raped and killed. She buried him on December 25. They didn't hesitate to drop it from the drone onto the grave. I buried him in the garden," said a resident of the village of Constantinople.
At the moment, the evacuated residents are in one of the temporary accommodation facilities, where they received medical care, clean clothes, sleeping places and hot meals.
On March 21, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the fighters of the Vostok group of forces also evacuated a group of residents of Constantinople. Along the way, they were accompanied by Russian army soldiers, including a drone operator who warned them from the air about the dangers that could lie in wait on the ground.
