Military personnel of the Vostok group of forces destroyed an American-made M113 armored personnel carrier (APC) and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Yuzhnodonets area of the special military operation (SVO). This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on April 22.

The ministry clarified that the APC tried to enter the Bogatyr settlement, but it was stopped by Russian operators with an FPV drone. The Ukrainian militants attempted to retreat, and the car veered off the road into a minefield, where it malfunctioned after two consecutive detonations of ammunition.

The M113 crew members tried to dismount and escape, but they were overtaken by Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Thanks to the precise actions of the operators, the entire group and the armored vehicle were hit.
