The crews of the Pacific Fleet ships have completed a business call at the port of Chittagong and conducted naval exercises together with the Naval Forces of the Republic of Bangladesh. This was reported on April 22 in the press service of the Pacific Fleet.
It is specified that the exercises were conducted in the PASSEX format. The crews of the two countries met in the designated area and conducted training on communications and joint tactical maneuvering. In the evening, the military personnel carried out the transmission of control and interaction commands in radio silence mode using the light alphabet.
In addition, during the exercises, the sailors improved their practical skills in replenishing water and fuel supplies on the move from the medium sea tanker Pechenga. After completing all the assigned tasks, the Russian ships continued to carry out the tasks of the long-range cruise.
The exercises were attended by the Russian Navy corvettes "Sharp", "Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov" and the medium sea tanker "Pechenga". The frigate Umar Farook, the corvette Prottoy and the large patrol ship Durjoy were involved in the exercise from the Navy of the Republic of Bangladesh.
