Hungary will not allow its territory to be used to send NATO or European Union (EU) troops to Ukraine, Laszlo Torockai, leader of the «Our Homeland» parliamentary party and member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, said in an interview with Izvestia.

"We completely reject the idea of sending NATO or EU troops to Ukraine and thus unleashing a Third World War. Under no circumstances will we allow them to use the territory of Hungary for such purposes," the politician said.

Russia is not considering any options for deploying European peacekeepers in Ukraine, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said earlier. He stressed that the approach imposed by the Europeans, namely France and the UK, is aimed at further intensifying the conflict and suppressing any attempts to calm it down.
