Brown bears have started to wake up in Yamal

The first signs of awakening of brown bears have been recorded in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. This is reported by the news agency " <url>" with reference to the Department of Natural Resources of the region.

Inspectors in the sanctuaries noticed signs of bears' vital activity. Experts note that in the spring it is important to track the movement of predators and assess the state of the population.

Residents of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District are asked to be careful and not to disturb the awakened bears.

In early April, a bear attacked a man in the Kavalerovsky district of Primorsky Krai. The victim was hospitalized.
