- In Russia, they plan to give guarantees to CBR participants to obtain loans for business

The SME Corporation will provide special guarantees to the participants of the special operation to attract financing from banks or government microfinance organizations to open or develop a business. This was reported to Izvestia on April 21 by the press service of the SME.
"For loans from the GMFO up to 5 million rubles under the guarantee of regional guarantee organizations, the SME Corporation will provide guarantees of up to 25% if the borrower does not have its own collateral. As part of bank loans, guarantees of the Russian Geographical Society and the Corporation will be provided as collateral in the amount of up to 90% for start—up entrepreneurs and up to 75% for all others," said Alexander Isaevich, CEO of the corporation.
According to him, the loan or loan amount can range from 5 million to 50 million rubles. He clarified that the same conditions are planned to apply to loans in the regional departments of the Federal Reserve.
Isaevich noted that this approach will allow banks to become more actively involved in the process of crediting participants in a special military operation (SVO) who want to attract financing for the development of their business, and for entrepreneurs themselves to be able to obtain a loan.
On March 25, David Adams, General Director of the AID Professional legal group, lawyer, announced that the participants of the SVO and their spouses, who signed a contract after December 1, 2024, can fully write off their mortgage and consumer loans. According to him, in order to write off debts, participants in a special operation must provide documents confirming the status of a serviceman, as well as evidence of debt that meets the necessary criteria.
