- Rossiyskaya Gazeta and Roscosmos held a campaign in support of the Russian Search Movement

The joint memorial campaign of Rossiyskaya Gazeta, Roscosmos and the Russian Search Movement "Above the Stars is only Memory" was launched with Gagarin's "Let's Go!" Participants from different regions of Russia and abroad joined the event: search engines, historians, teachers, students, schoolchildren and volunteers from Arkhangelsk, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Ulyanovsk, Minsk, Kostroma and Smolensk regions, as well as representatives of the Nakhushev family of search engine volunteers from Kabardino-Balkaria and compatriots from the Hungarian city of Paks.
At the headquarters of Rossiyskaya Gazeta, the participants were greeted by editor-in-chief Vladislav Fronin, who emphasized his personal connection with the story.: He is a fellow countryman of Sergeant Viktor Ryabov, who died in 1943 in the Smolensk region.
"Today, our movement is not only a field search, but also educational work. We are grateful to "RG" for the opportunity to speak publicly about important things. Together with Belarus, we are implementing the "No Statute of Limitations" project, and a new law on perpetuating the memory of the victims of the genocide has already been adopted. 700 expeditions are planned in 34 regions of the country in April and May," said Elena Tsunaeva, Executive Secretary of the Russian Search Movement.
Hero of the USSR and Russia Sergey Krikalev (Roscosmos) joined the action: "The 80th anniversary of the Victory reminds us of the significance of the feat of the people. Roscosmos, with its 100,000 employees, supports the "Above the Stars — Only Memory" campaign.
The special symbolism of the event was given by the medal "For Military Merit" No. 65671, delivered to the ISS by the Soyuz MS-27 spacecraft. During the flight, she made 160 revolutions around the Earth. During a live communication session with the ISS, participants from Arkhangelsk recalled the standard of the 354th Division, which was in orbit in 2020. Cosmonaut Ivan Wagner confirmed that the request of veteran Alexander Druchkov has been fulfilled — the relic has been transferred to the Gagarin Museum.
Despite the technical limitations (the communication time with the ISS was 20 minutes), the action brought together hundreds of people. The students of Ulyanovsk Pedagogical University, who were preparing a question about the types of native places from orbit, received a promise that the main thing was ahead.
