On April 21, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Tatyana Ilyushnikova presented methodological recommendations for the development of creative industries in Russian regions. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry.

"In a number of regions, work is actively underway to develop the creative sector. Authorized bodies for the development of the sphere have already been identified in 20 regions, legislative acts have been adopted in 17 regions, creative industry centers and clusters have been established in 29 regions, and more than a third of the regions provide support. Thus, we understand that a number of regions have already laid the foundation for the development of the sector," Ilyushnikova said during a meeting of members of the State Council of the Russian Federation Commission on Economics and Finance.

She stressed that the recommendations consist of sections devoted to key aspects of the work. So, first of all, this is regulatory and legal regulation at the regional level. In addition to regional laws and regulations, it is important to approve a system document for the development of the sector and an action plan for its implementation. The second is the institutional structure of governance at the regional level: it is important to identify a responsible person, an authorized authority, and an organization for the exercise of authority.

One of the key sections is also devoted to regional support measures. This may include financial, property, educational, consulting support, tax benefits, and assistance in marketing and exporting products. The recommendations include the creation of Creative Industry Centers, conditions for the formation of creative clusters, and information systems.

The finalized guidelines will be sent to the regions in the coming days, Ilyushnikova added.

On April 14, it was reported that the Moscow government was launching a new support program for representatives of the fashion and design industry, the Creative Business Workshop. Within its framework, as reported by Deputy Mayor of the capital Natalia Sergunina, until the end of the year in the urban space "AKI.Lab will hold a series of events with experts and market leaders.
