A court in Moscow fined Telegram 4 million rubles.

The Tagansky District Court of Moscow fined the Telegram messenger 4 million rubles, a correspondent of Izvestia reported from the courtroom on April 21.
"The court found Telegram Messenger Inc. guilty of committing an administrative offense under Part 2 of Article 13.41 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation, and imposed an administrative penalty in the form of an administrative fine of 4 million rubles," the Telegram channel of the courts of general jurisdiction of the capital said.
The offense under Part 2 of Article 13.41 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation implies "Violation of the procedure for restricting access to information resources, access to which is subject to restriction in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation on information, information technology and information protection, and (or) the procedure for deleting said information."
On March 17, it was reported that the Telegram messenger faces a fine of up to 4 million rubles if it refuses Roskomnadzor's demand to remove prohibited sets of stickers. Roskomnadzor noted that two sets of stickers containing Nazi and extremist symbols were entered into the Unified Register of Prohibited Information based on a court decision.
Prior to that, on March 7, the Tagansky District Court of Moscow fined Google 3.5 million rubles under Part 2 of Article 13.50 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. As the Izvestia correspondent clarified from the courtroom, the company did not remove alcohol advertising, thereby inciting minors to illegal activities.
