Russians named the most common difficulties in finding a job


More than half (54%) of Russian job seekers are actively looking for work, but they experience many fears and difficulties, despite their willingness to change. This is stated in a study by analysts of the leading online recruiting platform in Russia. hh.ru , which was reviewed by Izvestia on April 22.
According to the survey, the main problem faced by job seekers is the low salary level in job offers. This reason was indicated by 46% of the respondents. One in three respondents (33%) has doubts about their skills and experience required for the positions of interest. In addition, 28% fear that they will not be able to find more profitable offers, and the lack of salary information in vacancies makes it difficult for almost a quarter of respondents (23%) to find a job.
Lawyers (62%), administrative staff (55%), and art and media workers (51%) also report low salaries in vacancies. At the same time, IT specialists experience the greatest concern about their skills (44%), while among doctors and pharmacists this figure is significantly lower - only 12%. Financial workers (37%), HR specialists (31%) and top managers (30%) are most afraid that they will not be able to find more profitable offers.
Other common concerns include lack of feedback from employers (21%), a desire to change professions due to lack of experience in a new field (17%), and fear of rejection due to age (16%). 13% of applicants are concerned about the shortage of vacancies in the specialty and difficulties in finding remote work.
Other difficulties include uncertain job requirements and an unsuitable job location (10% each), lack of time, effort or resources to actively search (9%), as well as lack of information about the employer or the presence of negative reviews about him (8%).
