The nutritionist named the acceptable portion of shish kebab per day

Shish kebab is a heavy dish, therefore, in order to avoid severity and negative reactions from the gastrointestinal tract (GIT), it is worth giving preference to a light side dish, in particular non—starchy vegetables, advised nutritionist, market expert of the National Technology Initiative (NTI) Hesnet Tatiana Tsigalnitskaya. She told Izvestia on April 22 about the acceptable portion of such a dish.
"Meat is certainly an important product for maintaining health. However, cooking it on the grill reduces the value of meat for the body, and in some cases causes discomfort, especially if the meat is too fatty. If you want to have only good memories after the May feasts, limit yourself to one serving of shish kebab per day and supplement it with non—starchy vegetables — cucumbers, herbs, tomatoes," the expert noted.
In addition, it is worth paying attention to the amount of barbecue. It is enough for a healthy person to eat 200-300 g, and for people with gastrointestinal disorders — 100 g.
"Remember that in the evening the body prepares for bed and many processes, including digestion, slow down. You should not eat shish kebab in the evening. It is also worth eliminating alcohol and desserts on this day," the nutritionist recommended.
Earlier, on April 17, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the State University of Education Irina Lyalina told Izvestia that fatty fried foods, as they are difficult to digest, can cause heartburn, bloating, and gastritis. However, spicy seasonings and spices that irritate the gastric mucosa can worsen the ulcer.
