The Russian Foreign Ministry promised to help municipalities in the development of international activities

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is ready to help municipalities develop their international activities. This was stated on April 21 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, speaking at the II All—Russian Municipal Forum "Small Motherland - the strength of Russia."

"We will always be happy to provide additional assistance to this work," Zakharova said, answering a question, as quoted by TASS.

The diplomat also called international activities an important mission of municipalities.

Also during the forum "Small Motherland is the strength of Russia", the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry noted that Western countries demonstrate their intention to solve only their own economic problems, not being able to compete in trade. She stressed that the experience gained by the Russian Federation in recent years, being under sanctions pressure, is invaluable, so it needs to be further developed.
