The last representative of the Stroganov family, Helene de Ludinghausen, has died.

At the age of 82, the last representative of the noble family, Helene de Ludinghausen-Stroganova (Elena Stroganova), passed away. This was announced on April 21 by the Minister of Culture of the Perm Territory Alla Platonova.

"Helene de Ludinghausen-Stroganova (Stroganova Elena Andreevna), the last representative of the famous family of barons and counts Stroganov, has died," she wrote on the Telegram channel.

Stroganova was born on August 20, 1942, and spent most of her life working as a director at the Yves Saint Laurent Fashion House. In parallel with her work, she was engaged in social activities and charity work.

She also created an international foundation to restore the Stroganov Palace and help museums in Russia. Stroganova had no children, and with her passing, the famous family was interrupted.
