On April 21, the creators of the film story "Pinocchio" told Izvestia about the details of the filming of the film. This film will not be a remake of a Soviet TV movie or a film adaptation of the work of writer Alexei Tolstoy, but will become a completely new vivid story.

"Complex, multi—layered, reflective, sometimes cowardly, but striving for courage, loving his friends and wishing well," said Mark Edelstein, the performer of the role of Artemon.

The cast includes several generations of bright artists, as well as famous young stars. Among them: Svetlana Nemolyaeva, Lev Zulkarnaev, Alexander Petrov and others. The role of Karabas-Barabas went to director Fyodor Bondarchuk.

It is clarified that the project is based on the classic book by Alexei Tolstoy "The Golden Key, or The Adventures of Pinocchio."
