The escorts of the criminal authority Shishkan were sentenced to correctional labor

Police officers of the Interior Ministry's escort service Alexei Abakumov and Ivan Alexandrov, who helped the "thief in law" Oleg Medvedev, nicknamed Shishkan, get a mobile phone, were sentenced to three years of correctional labor. This is reported by a correspondent of Izvestia from the Preobrazhensky District Court of Moscow.
Both convicts were released from jail in the courtroom. They are also prohibited from holding public office for two years.
Abakumov and Alexandrov were arrested in April 2024 in a case of abuse of office.
According to investigators, during the escort to each court session, on Medvedev's instructions, his henchmen transported the devices in the rectum, after which they handed them over to their leader, who negotiated them between court sessions to give instructions on exerting pressure on unwanted witnesses. During another such transportation, a member of the Shishkan community was found to have a phone.
Oleg Medvedev headed a criminal community of 18 people. Its participants are charged with a number of serious and especially serious crimes, including murder, extortion, injury to health, illegal possession of firearms and others. In June 2024, Shishkan was sentenced to life in prison.
