On May 4, the action-packed series "Operation Carpathians 2" will be broadcast on REN TV

"Operation Carpathians 2" is a continuation of the popular series, which premiered on the REN TV channel in 2024. The main roles in the project are played by Vladimir Verevochkin, Alexander Loye and Maria Lisova. Evgeny Sidikhin, Gela Meskhi and Ivan Oganesyan have joined the cast of the series in the new season.

"Operation Carpathians" is one of the top 3 most successful REN TV series of its own production, along with "Operation Neman" and "The Zig Zag Gang." According to Mediascope, REN TV's share of the target audience of "All 22-55" reached 10.9% and a rating of 2.2% during the series' premiere on May 5, 2024.

The director and cinematographer of the second season of the series is Mikhail Agranovich ("Come and see me", "Kreutzer Sonata", "Little Sister", "Repentance", "Little Tragedies", "Looking for a Woman", "In the First Circle", "Azazel").

The screenplay was written by Andrey Zhitkov ("GDR", "Evil", "Return at any cost", "Saboteur", "Saboteur 2: The End of the War", "Operation Muhabbat").

The action of the series "Operation Carpathians 2" takes place in 1949. USSR, Western Ukraine, the Carpathians. A saboteur named Raven (Vladimir Verevochkin) is thrown into the Carpathians to carry out sabotage and sabotage. His handlers from the British MI6 intelligence service are unaware that Raven is actually a Soviet intelligence officer, an MGB lieutenant who has obtained top–secret information that will help expose foreign intelligence agents in the USSR. But it turns out to be difficult to achieve what you want – another high-class professional, who has long been embedded in the structures of the MGB, is working against Raven. With the help of his beloved Angelina (Maria Lisova) and a repeat Plague thief (Alexander Loye), who are familiar to the viewer from the first season of the series, Raven will have to thwart the plans of the "mole" and the bandits working for him.

The online premiere of the series "Operation Carpathians 2" will take place on Wink.ru April 30th.
