Sobyanin spoke about investments in manufacturing

Last year, capital investors invested over 386 billion rubles in Moscow's manufacturing industries. This, according to Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, is almost 33% more than in 2023.

In 2024, the mayor continued, one of the enterprises that manufactures laptops, servers, access control and management systems, with the support of the city, attracted 240 million rubles for the purchase of industrial premises. In total, investors have invested almost 120.5 billion rubles in this sector.

About 18.7 billion rubles were allocated for the development of food and beverage production. In addition, to support the industry, Moscow has provided investors with five large land plots with a total area of over 96 hectares at a discounted rate of one ruble per year (as part of large—scale investment projects).

Investors have invested about 16 billion rubles in the production of medicines. According to Sobyanin, the city supports the development of pharmaceutical enterprises and concludes offset contracts with them, which will allow localizing the production of drugs for the treatment of a number of diseases.

It is planned that in 2025 the volume of investments in manufacturing will grow by 14%, Sobyanin stressed.
