Washington is tired of the conflict in Ukraine. This was stated by US President Donald Trump's special envoy Keith Kellogg in an interview with Fox News.

"We are tired of what is happening (in Ukraine. — Ed.). There are many other problems in the world that the United States should be involved in, and this <conflict> has been going on for a very long time," he commented on the April 19 statement by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Trump that the United States may stop helping to resolve the conflict.

Kellogg also noted that he sees the prospect of ending the conflict in Ukraine.

On April 18, Rubio announced the intention of the United States to help resolve the conflict if both sides are determined to achieve peace. According to him, in addition to this important topic, there are also a number of other issues "worthy of American attention."

He believes that therefore it is necessary to understand in the near future whether it is possible to reach a peaceful settlement soon.
