An earthquake of magnitude 4.0 was recorded in the north-west of Azerbaijan. This was confirmed on April 21 by data on the website of the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.

The tremors were noted at 08:31 local time (07:31 Moscow time). It is emphasized that the earthquake was located at a depth of about 17 km near the Shaki and Oguz districts.

At the moment, there is no information about the victims.

Yesterday, an earthquake of magnitude 5.5 was recorded on the Philippine island of Mindanao. The earthquake was recorded at a depth of about 15 km, 105 km from the city of Koronadal.
