Hockey player Bardakov signed a contract with the NHL club Colorado

Russian Zakhar Bardakov has signed a one-year contract with the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League (NHL). This was announced on April 21 on the website of the hockey club (HC).
"The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club announced today that the team has signed forward Zakhar Bardakov to a one-year contract <...> for the 2025/26 season," the statement said.
In the 2024/25 season, the 24-year-old scored 35 points (17+18) in 53 Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) regular season matches for SKA St. Petersburg.
On April 8, SKA St. Petersburg forward Ivan Demidov became a member of the Montreal Canadiens NHL team. The rights to the KHL player will remain with the Russian club: if he fails to gain a foothold in the NHL, he will return to St. Petersburg.
