The Hydrometeorological Center reported a sharp cold snap on Thursday.


Starting from Thursday, April 24, a sharp cold snap of 10 degrees is expected in Moscow, with daytime temperatures of only 15-20 degrees. This was announced on Monday, April 21, by the scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand.
The forecaster noted that at the same time, such indicators are still 4-5 degrees above the climatic norm.
"Night temperatures will be around plus 10 degrees, and during the day the values will be in the range of + 15-20 degrees," the expert warned in an interview with TASS, adding that earlier the temperature drop was expected on Wednesday.
According to Vilfand, in the future, the air temperature at night in the capital will be +4-9 degrees, and during the day +16 degrees.
In conclusion, the agency's interlocutor added that the weather in Moscow could be even colder over the weekend.
Partly cloudy, no precipitation — such weather awaits residents of the capital region on Monday, April 21, according to the forecast of the Hydrometeorological Center. The air temperature in Moscow will range from +25 to +27 degrees during the day. At night, the thermometer will drop to +12.
