- The WSJ has learned about the Trump administration's plans to deprive Harvard of another $1 billion in funding

The administration of US President Donald Trump intends to deprive Harvard University of another $ 1 billion due to its refusal to change the internal policy of the educational institution. This was reported on April 20 by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ).
"The Trump administration is so angry at Harvard University after a week of escalating dispute between the two sides that it plans to deprive the educational institution of additional medical research funding in the amount of $ 1 billion," the newspaper reports.
Earlier, representatives of the Trump administration sent a long list of demands to Harvard, which demanded personnel changes, as well as a tougher response to anti-Semitism within the university.
On April 14, the Department's task force on combating anti-Semitism announced that the U.S. Department of Education had announced the freezing of grants for Harvard University in the amount of $2.2 billion due to the school's refusal to comply with President Donald Trump's instructions. The unfulfilled tasks of the institution's administration included the closure of programs to ensure "diversity, equality and inclusivity" within the walls of the educational institution.
