Two people died as a result of a fire on the fifth floor of an apartment building in Chelyabinsk. This was announced on Monday, April 21, by the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Chelyabinsk region.

"At 01:58 (23:58 Moscow time on April 20) on April 21, 2025, a report was received about a fire in a studio apartment on the fifth floor of an apartment building in Chelyabinsk," the publication says.

The staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations rescued two people using flight ladders, another was taken out by a car ladder. Seven residents evacuated from the burning house on their own.
