Russian boxer Dmitry Bivol refused to fight with Ukrainian Alexander Usyk and added that he would not go to MMA. This was reported on Sunday, April 20, by the newspaper "Soviet Sport".

"No, I would not like to have an MMA fight, I am not particularly interested in it. I am a boxer and so far I am not interested in pop boxing, as it is often called, we still have a big sport. A fight with a Mustache? No, I don't think so, we're in different weight categories," Bivol said.

According to him, he is not going to retire from big-time sports yet.

The 34-year-old Bivol has 24 wins and one loss.

On March 11, undisputed light heavyweight boxing world champion Dmitry Bivol arrived in Russia after winning a rematch against Artur Beterbiev. At Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport, the fighter was greeted with a loaf with his last name and the song "Blood Type" by the Kino collective, to which Bivol enters the ring.
