Rosselkhoznadzor to check banana producers in Ecuador

Rosselkhoznadzor representatives will check banana producers in Ecuador next week. This was announced on Sunday, April 20, by Richard Salazar, head of the Ecuadorian Banana Trade and Export Association (Acorbanec).

"The Rosselkhoznadzor has confirmed the inspection for April 21-28 this year," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti, adding that the purpose of the work is to verify the certification of product export processes to Russia.

As the chairman of Acorbanec pointed out, the agency will also get acquainted with issues related to pesticides as part of the inspection.
