The increase to the insurance pension from 2026 will be calculated in February and April.

On April 17, Svetlana Bessarab was reminded of the increase in payments to certain categories of pensioners from May 1. She clarified that the increase will affect those citizens who received disability group I in April or celebrated their 80th anniversary.

On the same day, Nina Gukasova, program director of the RANEPA Federal Methodological Center for Improving Literacy, announced that Russians who do not have contributions to the Social Fund of Russia may be left without an insurance pension.
