The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have shelled Gorlovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) for the seventh time since the beginning of the day, violating the Easter truce. This was reported on April 20 in the department for documenting war crimes of Ukraine of the administration of the head and government of the region.
"An attack was recorded from the VFU from the village of Dyleevka in the village of Gorlovka (Nikitovsky district)," the Telegram channel said.
It is specified that the Ukrainian army attacked Gorlovka at 20:10 Moscow time, using 155 mm NATO artillery and firing four shells.
On the same day, it was reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces, violating the announced Easter truce, tried to attack the settlements of Sukhaya Balka and Bogatyr in the DPR, their attacks were repelled.
On April 19, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced an Easter truce in a special operation to protect Donbass during a meeting with the head of the Russian General Staff Valery Gerasimov. The Head of State noted that Kiev's compliance with the truce regime would show how sincerely Kiev was striving for a peaceful resolution of the conflict.
