Holy Fire was delivered to Kursk

The Holy Fire was delivered from Moscow to the Cathedral of the Sign in Kursk. This was reported by a correspondent of Izvestia on April 20.
"The temple is crowded. People believe that Easter will bring joy, despite all the difficulties experienced by the border region," Tatiana Simonenkova said.
The Easter service was conducted by Metropolitan Herman of Kursk and Rila, co-served by the clergy of the Kursk Diocese. At the end of the service, the faithful were given fire, which they could take home in lamps.
"We came at the call of our hearts. We didn't prepare, but the mood was such that it was necessary. We need to support everyone, hold everything together," said Lyudmila Agarkova, a parishioner.
Earlier that day, mothers with many children brought the Holy Fire to Belgorod from Moscow. A piece of the sacred fire was brought to the Transfiguration Cathedral.
