The Dome of Donbass disrupted 269 attacks by Ukrainian UAVs on the infrastructure of the DPR in a week

The Domol Donbass airspace protection and electronic warfare system disrupted 269 terrorist attacks by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on civilians and infrastructure of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) last week. This was announced on April 21 by the Department of the FSB of Russia for the region.

Thus, during operations in the Kirovsky and Kuibyshevsky districts of Donetsk, two aircraft-type drones were intercepted, which carried out reconnaissance near residential areas.

In addition, in Gorlovka, the electronic warfare system also demonstrated its effectiveness by suppressing an FPV drone armed with an improvised explosive device, as well as an impact barrage of ammunition aimed at the civilian infrastructure of the city. In just a week, 97 enemy drones were intercepted in the area.

Specialists of the explosive engineering department of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the DPR used special technical means to disable the controls of drones and destroy explosive objects.

On April 7, it was reported that over the past week, the Dome of Donbass intercepted 216 Ukrainian drones over Donetsk and Makeyevka in the DPR. In particular, the system intercepted three drones over the Kuibyshev district of Donetsk, which were exploring the territory in the area of civilian fuel and lubricants depots. In addition, another 28 UAVs were shot down during a massive attack on the night of April 5.
