A prosecutor's review of the implementation of legislation is underway after the collision of the Alfa motor ship with the lower gate at the Kochetovsky hydroelectric complex of the Don River in the Rostov region. The Southern Transport Prosecutor's Office (UTP) announced this on April 20 in its Telegram channel.

"The Volga-Don Transport Prosecutor's Office is conducting an audit of the implementation of legislation on the safety of navigation, following which the issue of the need to take response measures will be considered," the agency said in a statement.

UTP published a photo of the Alpha after the attack on the gate, where it is clear that the ship's bow is seriously damaged.
