In Khakassia, a state hunting inspector found the meat of a wild animal in the trunk of a car. This was announced on April 20 in the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Republic.

"[The man] was traveling in a private car, in the trunk of which he was actually transporting fragments of wild animal meat," a message on the VKontakte social network said.

It is noted that the state hunting inspector was stopped on April 17, and he had a tear-off permit for hunting resources, which is necessary for transportation. At the same time, after the examinations, the fact of alcohol intoxication in the man was not confirmed.

Investigative measures are currently being carried out to establish the details of the incident. In addition, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment initiated an internal audit against the employee. The Ministry will find out whether he acted lawfully and will take action if necessary.

Earlier on April 16, poachers shot a pregnant deer in the Lipetsk region. A criminal case has been opened into illegal hunting. After the arrest, the poachers' vehicle was seized.
