The United States reported progress in negotiations with Iran


The US administration suggested that some progress had been made in the negotiations with Iran in Rome. This was announced by ABC News on Saturday, April 19.
"Today in Rome, during the second round of negotiations that lasted more than four hours, we made very good progress during direct and indirect discussions," the TV channel quoted an administration official as saying.
The negotiations lasted more than four hours, the TV channel said.
The next round of U.S.-Iranian talks will take place in the coming days.
Earlier, on April 19, the second stage of negotiations between Iran and the United States on the nuclear program took place. The Iranian delegation was headed by Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi. Washington was represented by Witkoff.
