Four children died in a fire near Chelyabinsk.

In Yuryuzan, Chelyabinsk region, four minors died as a result of a fire. This was announced on Sunday, April 20, by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

"At night, firefighters worked in the town of Yuryuzan, Vasilovka village. Upon the arrival of the units, a private house was burning, the flames also spread to outbuildings and the roof of a neighboring house," the agency wrote in its Telegram channel.

It is specified that a 12-year-old girl, a seven-year-old boy and two five-year-old twin boys were at home alone during the fire.

23 specialists and six pieces of equipment were involved in eliminating the fire. The flames were extinguished on an area of 160 sq. m.

The causes of the fire are currently being determined. The family of the victims will be working with a psychologist from the fire and rescue garrison of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.

Earlier, on April 17, four children died as a result of a fire in a private house in Sosnovo. At the moment, the circumstances and causes of the incident are being established.
