A new trick of phone scammers has become known

Phone scammers have come up with a new trick, according to which they themselves admit to cheating at some stage of the conversation.
First, the scammers call a potential victim and, posing as an "employee of a mobile operator," ask them to name the code from an SMS message.
After that, the fraudster himself reveals the deception and begins to blackmail the person, demanding that his orders be fulfilled. The threats may include the claim that the stolen money allegedly went to finance the Ukrainian army, TASS writes.
After that, the scammers contact the victim again, posing this time as police officers or employees of Rosfinmonitoring or the Gosuslugi portal. They propose to save the remaining funds by transferring them to a "secure account."
On April 19, the Interior Ministry warned about fraud under the pretext of photo shoots for models. According to this scheme, the attackers post ads on social networks about the photographer's services under the guise of novice specialists. They offer to shoot and pay only for the services of a stylist and studio rent. The girls are offered to follow the link to the website and enter their card details. After that, the scammers receive the victim's bank details and withdraw funds from the account.
