Soyuz MS-26 with a Russian-American crew on board landed in Kazakhstan

The Soyuz MS-26 spacecraft carrying Roscosmos cosmonauts Alexei Ovchinin, Ivan Wagner and NASA astronaut Donald Pettit landed in Kazakhstan on April 20.

"Today at 04:20 Moscow time (06:20 local time. The descent module of the Soyuz MS-26 spacecraft with cosmonauts Alexei Ovchinin, Ivan Wagner and Donald Pettit landed near the Kazakh city of Zhezkazgan," the Roscosmos state corporation wrote in its Telegram channel.

It is specified that the descent to Earth took place in normal mode.

The crew worked in outer space from September 11, 2024 to April 20, 2025.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that the Soyuz MS-26 spacecraft had undocked from the International Space Station (ISS).

On April 8, the Soyuz MS-27 spacecraft delivered a crew consisting of Russian cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov, Alexey Zubritsky and NASA astronaut Jonathan Kim to the ISS. It is specified that it docked automatically to the Berth node module of the Russian segment of the ISS at 11:58 Moscow time.
