CNN called out Trump's possible reaction to the Easter truce
The truce announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin in Ukraine in honor of Easter may force US leader Donald Trump to be more loyal to Russia's position on the conflict. This was reported on April 19 by CNN.
"This is likely to spur Trump to a pro—Moscow vision of the conflict," the publication says.
The TV channel also pointed out that the Easter ceasefire could be a problem for the Ukrainian army in terms of logistics and incoming information.
"Disinformation will inevitably confuse troops about the implementation of the truce, how to report or respond to violations, and even what to do when the truce comes to an end," the article says.
On April 19, Putin announced the Easter truce. At the same time, he stressed that the Russian military must be ready to repel possible violations and provocations by Ukrainian militants. On the same day, Zelensky declared Ukraine's readiness to adhere to the Easter truce.
