Serbian President Vucic congratulated the faithful on Easter

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has congratulated Christians on Easter. On April 19, he posted a corresponding post on Facebook (owned by Meta, a company whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
"May this day fill us with love, a sense of unity and deep confidence that everything will be fine in our country, because love, harmony and faith are stronger than all temptations," he said.
According to the Serbian leader, Easter has become a symbol of hope, joy, peace and unshakeable faith.
On April 19, Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia held Vespers with the reading of 15 paremias and the Divine Liturgy of St. Basil the Great at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow. The patriarch also consecrated Easter cakes and eggs.
On the same day, thousands of people gathered for the Easter service at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. Thousands of believers from different cities and states gathered to celebrate Easter in the main church of Russia.
